He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William and Frances Barends Sr. (Nagelkirk); his mother-in-law Janet Rae Purcell; his daughter Lisa Clark (Kyle); his grandchildren, Zane, Merik and Kendall (Paul); his son Tom Barends (Michele); his grandchildren, Mercedes (Clara), Isaiah, Katlyn (Chris), Sarah (Brandon) and Chloe (Brent); his stepson Rick Moore (Deborah); his children, Kadie (Tony), Jeff (Julie) and Tyler; his stepson Scott Moore (Luci); and his children, Jenna (John) and Max.
