We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2022, at the age of 89, Wanda Lorraine (Smith) Deur of Fremont, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Norton and Goldie Norton of Walkerville; her sister Ilene Gilchrist; and her grandson Travis Cook. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Smith Cook (Joel) of Springfield, Greg Smith (Cindy) of Grand Rapids, MI and Cheryl Van Hemert (Al) of Fremont, MI; her grandchildren, Brent Smith (Leah Wilcox), Heather Erb (Matthew), Bryan McKinley-Myers (Rachel) and Hunter Cook (Gabrielle); her great grandchildren, Chance Smith, Jacob Erb and Xavier Cook; her sisters, Theda West and Judy Van Arman; and her former husband Hayden Smith.
After retirement, she volunteered in the Gerber Memorial Hospital Gift Shop until COVID closed it.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Wanda can be directed to the Newaygo County Compassion Home.
