He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Compton and Wanda Compton (Forehand); his wives, Sandra and Wanda; his daughter Wanda; and his sisters, Nadine Tennant (Arthur) and Wynona Rash.

He is survived by: his former spouse Leida (Linderer Gustafson); his children, Rhonda Guerrero (Bryan), Ron Compton, Jr., Erica Fellows and Lisa Rockwell (Steve); his grandchildren, Sandy, Leah (Gracie), Alex and Brooke; his great grandchildren, Kayden and Mattox; his sister Joyce Campbell (Jim); and his half-sisters, Mary Page (Randy) and Peggy Guiterrez. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Bellwether Harbor in Fremont in honor of Pringle.
