He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Gale and Marjorie Gale (McGregor); his son Richard Lewis; his granddaughter McKenna Gale; his great grandchild Samantha Keel; and his sister Norinne Telfer.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce of Fremont; his daughter Cherrill Keel of Midland; his grandchildren, Matthew (Kelly) and Sara Adams; his daughter Joan Vleim (Ron) of Fremont; his grandchildren, Jason (Amanda), Bethany, Michael (Lisa) and Jenna; his son James (Julie) of Sandusky; his grandchild Ashley; his son Andrew (Laurel); and his grandchildren, Kama Mayne (Paul), Mahala (Christian) and Iain. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fremont Area Community Foundation for the Newaygo County Career-Tech Center Scholarship.
