She was predeceased by: her parents, Romer "Romie" Steiner and Florence Steiner (Cook); her husbands, Willis "Bill" Jones and Michael J. Assante; her son Steven Jones; and her siblings, Robert Steiner and Theresa Gill.
She is survived by: her son Douglas Jones (Raelene) of Greenville, Michigan; her granddaughters, Melissa Walker (Lance), Jacquelin Jones and Bobbi Jones; her great grandchildren, Grace, Jacob, Cameron, Addison, Jolene, Beau and Layla; her stepson Michael C. Assante of Comstock Park, Michigan; and her sister Linda Holler (Marvin) of Gladwin, Michigan. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
