He was predeceased by: his parents, James Philo and Jesse Philo (Woodward); his wife Dorothy Konkel; and his brothers, Bartrum and Arthur Philo.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Philo (Kelly) of Fremont, Max Philo, Jr. (Brenda) of Greenville and Tammy Rector (Stewart) of Norton Shores. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren & 23 great-grandchildren.
