She was predeceased by: her parents, August Kapphahn and Ebba Kapphahn (Peterson); her husband James Carrier; her brothers, Ronald, Ray and Erwin Kapphahn; and her son-in-law Craig Schilhaneck.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Stroven of Fremont, Linda Schilhaneck of Newaygo, Mark Carrier (Jonie) of Traverse City and Daniel Carrier (Elaine) of Front Royal, Virginia; and her sister Carol Adams of Little Rock, Arkansas.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
