With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Larry Hooker of Fremont, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Larry left this world on October 26, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, Larry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Larry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hooker and Greta Hooker (Davis); and his grandson Brian Hooker. He is survived by: his wife Donna McKiernan; his children, Elise Kempf (Stoney), Darcy Fransens (Arlyn), Kyla Hooker and Brad Hooker (Lisa); and his siblings, Sue Borrello (Bud) and Jerry Hooker (Sharon). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home (637 E Main St, Fremont, MI 49412).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to The Muscular Dystrophy Association.
