With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John E. Cushman Sr. of Fremont, Michigan, born in Ludington, Michigan, who passed away on January 13, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis L. Cushman and Emilia A. Cushman (Becker); his son Jack Robert Cushman; his son-in-law Brian Frey; and his siblings, Louis Cushman and Emilia Struble.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Jean Daunis of Fremont; his daughter Mary Frey; his sister Vonda Cushman (Jeff Galloup) of Luther; his grandchildren, Blake, Travis, Hannah, Maranda, Megan and Ty; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Hudson; and his siblings, Ernie Cushman (Nancy) of Fremont, Bertha Rose (Bert) of Kent City and Dorothy Akins (Art) of Muskegon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
