With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jess J. DeYoung D. of Fremont, Michigan, who passed away on June 27, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry DeYoung and Helen DeYoung (Heetderks); his wife Alma DeHaas; and his siblings, Vesta Bos, Vera Sheridan and Tharon DeYoung.
He is survived by: his children, Randy DeYoung (Karen) of Walker, Craig DeYoung (Brenda) of Kentwood, Michael DeYoung (Suzanne) of Coopersville and Julie Bootsma (Greg) of Byron Center; and his grandchildren, Patricia Gressler, Jennifer Prins (Ben), Denise Ford (Kevin), Tony DeYoung (Elena), Bryce DeYoung (Kelsey), Hillary Hansen (Alex), Danielle Tennant (Travis), Marie Sanogo (Baki), Matthew DeYoung, Jessica Tiefenbach (Andy), Grace Fennema (Mike), Ben Bootsma and Meeka Bootsma. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
