He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Herman Newfer and Delores Ferguson; his stepfather Jerry J Ferguson; and his brother Ricky Newfer. He is survived by: his son James Newfer II (Questa); his siblings, Martin Newfer (Tammi), Mary Franklin (Steven), Delores Golliver (Scott), Andy Newfer (Pam) and Harold Newfer Jr. (Lisa); and his friend Karl Billington of Hesperia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
