He was predeceased by: his father Walter Dummer; his wife Viola "Vi"; and his siblings, Mary Ann Perkins, Jean Orshal, Walter and Allen Dummer.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Dummer (Penny) of Fremont and Sheryl Newton of Hastings; his granddaughter Nicole Buikema (Jason); his son James Dummer (Shannon); his great grandchild Kennedy Buikema; and his siblings, Barbara Dummer of Fremont, Gerald Dummer of Canadian Lakes and Dale Dummer (Dianna) of Lansing. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
