He is survived by: his children, Karen Pensyl (Donald), Robert Bechtel (Gail), Gordon III Bechtel (Shelly), James Bechtel (Natalie) and Mark Bechtel (Renee); his grandchildren, Johnathon, Carrie, Joshua, Shannon, Sarah, Elijah, Skylar, Elyse and Gordy IV; his great grandchildren, Brayden and Wesley; and his siblings, Gerald Bechtel (Dennis), Janet Puchlak-Smith and Judith Walker.
