She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice May McDonald (Meade) and Ronald McDonald; and her brother Don McDonald. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Koontz (Chris) of Cadillac, Richard Alberts (Morgan Sherwood) of Vidor and Amanda Alberts (Jim Collins) of McBain; her grandchildren, Brennon, Emberlyn Alberts, Araya and James Collins; her close friend Steven Vlassis; her siblings, Nick McDonald (Elsie), Laurie Stanley, Randy McDonald (Beth), Rod McDonald (Shelley), Kathy McDonald, Roland McDonald, Joby McDonald (Hilary) and Jeremy McDonald (Kammy); and also, Colton Vlassis, Gage Maneke and Amara Maneke. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.
