He is survived by: his wife Lois Nelson; his children, Kristina Ruffini (Richard) of Michigan, Marcia Collaer of Vermont and Jeff Collaer (Rebecca) of Michigan; his brother Kenneth Collaer (Mary Lou) of Minnesota; and his daughter Mary Beth Villarreal-Collaer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
