He was predeceased by: his father Louis E. Thumser; and his nephew Brian Pell. He is survived by: his mother Barbara J. Thumser (Castle) of Fremont; his children, Morgan Jean Thumser of Gladstone, Michigan, BJ Thumser (Danielle) of Sand Lake and Rachael Lea Thumser; his grandson Riley Thumser of Byron Center; his sisters, Marcia Kay Pierce of Fremont and Debra Pell (Gary) of Fremont; his nephew Eric Pell (Sue) of Howard City; and his nieces, Kristine Kendziorski (Jarek) of Fremont and Kari Mercer (Dave) of Fremont.
