He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Emerson and Alice L. Eckert (Bunce); his wife Rose L. Coleman; and his children, Sharon Hattaway (Bud), Daniel Eckert (Lois), Alice Holcomb (Harry), David Eckert (Faye), John Eckert (Kathy) and JoAnna Brodgon (Mike). He was also cherished by 28 grandchildren & 30 great grandchildren.
