He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Tibbe and Martha Tibbe (Luchies); his wife Emma Nieman; his grandchildren, Trientje Luell and Birkten Luell; and his grandchildren-in-law, Art, Arlene Tibbe, Maxine Tibbe, Helene, Joe Buitendorp, Joyce DuRose, Geraldine and Fritz Deuling.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Tibbe (Tara) of Waupun, WI. and Cyndee Tibbe Luell; his grandchildren, Nathan, Elyse, Joshua, Ava, Abigail Tibbe and Trexler Luell; his siblings, Barb Stroven (Stan) of Fremont and Jim Tibbe (Sue) of Fremont; his siblings-in-law, Jim DuRose of Muskegon, John Nieman (Terri) of Clover, SC., Mike Nieman (Dyan) of Charlotte, NC. and Trya Darling (Dennis) of LaRiviere; and his nephews, Oliver and Isaiah Guikema.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to Bethel Reformed OPC or to the Newaygo County Compassion Home.
