He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Luchies and Elizabeth "Tiz" Luchies (Tubergen); his sister-in-law Nancy Luchies; and his mother-in-law Lucy Cordts. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Luchies (Cordts); his children, Jeremy Luchies (Ashley), Amanda Waalkes (Chris) and Brittany Mazie (Chad); his grandchildren, Joel, Evan (Lily), Ella, Blayke Luchies, Javen, Brynlee, Avery, Breckin, Tenlee Waalkes, Braxton and Payton Mazie; his great grandchild Hazel Dunning; his brothers, Larry Luchies and Glenn Luchies (Janet); and his father-in-law George Cordts. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law; and by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Inspire Church (918 Garden Ave, Fremont, MI 49412). A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (804 S Division Ave, Fremont, MI 49412).
