He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nelson and Virginia Nelson (Isenhart); and his siblings, Lora and David. He is survived by: his wife Debra Romine; and his children, Scott Foster (Penny) of Ft Myers, Chris Nelson (Tracy) of Lowell and Jodi Nelson of Bridgeton. He is also survived by grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Newaygo VFW Post #4249 (45 W. Gene Furgason Lane, Newaygo, MI 49337).
