In loving memory of Ruben Fish of Freeport, Michigan, born in Hastings, Michigan, who departed this world on January 11, 2025 at the age of 102. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ruben leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Virginia Bass and Calvin Fish; and his son Bruce Fish. He is survived by: his children, Steve Fish (Marceline), Brent, Reuben Fish and Lorna Miller. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; and his 12 great-grandchildren.
The military honors was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Freeport Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Freeport Community Center (209 S State St, Freeport, MI 49325).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans.
