With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard L. Bird of Freeport, Michigan, born in Hastings, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 14, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Bird and Oreletta Bird (Chapman); his wife Donna Bird; his son Ricky Bird; his grandson Matthew Mead; and his siblings, Ines Faunce and Theodore Bird.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Mulligan (Neil Keller), Cindy Garcia (Herman) and Richard Rayner (Carla); and his friend Austin Loftus. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
