She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ernest Martin and Julia Ann Martin (Ginnings); her husband Fred Slagel; and her sisters, Ruby DeBerry, Dorothy Hoss and May Babcock.
She is survived by: her siblings, Bob Martin, Billie Martin, Bert Kruizenga (Fritz) and Jane Anthony (Roger); her sister-in-law Joyce Martin; and her children, Becky Schmidt (Gordon), Mike Slagel (Cielo), Rick Slagel (Robin), Pam Rookus (Tim), Joe Slagel and Charlie Slagel. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
