He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne Cooper and Helen Cooper (Wagner); his children, Kimberly Ann Cooper and Dustin Lane Cooper; and his siblings, Duane George Cooper, Ann Marie Cooper, Therese Cooper and Mary Lou Nichols (Cooper).
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Hornick; his daughter Melanie Newhouse (Brian) of Middleville, MI; his grandchildren, Isaac Newhouse (Isabella) of San Marcos, TX, Carter Newhouse (Eve) of Kettering, OH, Logan and Alex Newhouse of Middleville; his siblings, Sue Siler (Peter) of Lowell, Jeri Claire (John) and Fred Cooper (Debbie); his siblings-in-law, James Nichols and Leslie Ann Cooper of Ludington; and his nephews, David Cooper Claire and Gabriel James Nichols. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
