She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Newton; her son Robert Newton; her parents, Mamie Cove (Mayes) and Buddie Mayes; her stepfather Louis Cove; her siblings, Morrison Mayes, Evelyn Hanson (Mayes) and Norma Gochenour (Mayes); her grandson Jeffery Newton; and her great grandchildren, Jayden Newton and Alayna Newton.
She is survived by: her former husband Douglas Love Sr.; and her sons, Douglas Love Jr. (Caryn), Kevin Newton (Sandra Davis), Gary Newton (Janice) and Terry Newton (Theresa). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
