It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan I. Christensen of Freeland, Michigan, born in Painesdale, Michigan, who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stefan Wisniewski and Marsha Wisniewski; her in-laws, Jerry, Susan Christensen, Karen Novotny and Gail Christensen; her grandparents, Irena, Piotr Wisniewski, Gertrude Rothenberger Marinelli (August) and Kenneth Luusua; her aunt Lynn Marinelli; her uncles, Ted, Roscoe and Walter; her cousins, Stacy, Robert and Tiffany; her great-nephew Oakley; her close friend Jenny Olson; and also Raymundo Delgado Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Christensen; her children, Timothy Rohn (Anna), Tyler Rohn (Amy) and Elizabeth Rohn (Mario); her daughter-in-law Tiffany Christensen; her grandchildren, Eli, Erika, Egan and Valerie; her siblings, Jerry Wisniewski (Trisha), Stephanie Graef (Mark), Tanya Maki (Nathan), Alexis Snell (Chad), Angelica Hebert (Tony), Ashley Sudderth and Stefan Wisniewski (Lori); and her brother-in-law Don Christensen (Barb). She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Susan's contributions to the music community were vast, including her involvement with the Bay Choral Society and her role as a cantor in Christian music ministry at Sts. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church in Saginaw and St. Agnes Catholic Church in Freeland.
