We bid farewell to Marjorie L. Kalkman of Freeland, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 24, 2025 at the age of 79. Marjorie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Sr. Kalkman and Anna Kalkman; her siblings, Lois Kalkman, Erwin Kalkman Jr., Harvie Kalkman, Kathryn Higley (Harold), James Kalkman, Alvin Kalkman and Melvin Kalkman; and her sister-in-law Gerry Kay.
She is survived by: her siblings, Don Kalkman, Bernard Kalkman, Gerald Kalkman (Carol), Rosemary Kalkman, Joan Kipfmiller (Jerry), Linda Freier (Jim) and Robert Kalkman (Roxanne); and her sister-in-law Mary Kalkman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (300 Johnson St, Freeland, MI 48623). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Alzheimer's Association or St. Agnes Catholic Church, Freeland.
