He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Philip Shaver and Marion Shaver (Thurlow); and his wife Ruth Yvonne Wade. He is survived by: his sisters, Kathleen Luplow and Susan Gale (Steve) of Freeland; his children, Gary Shaver (Joan) of Charlevoix, Lynn Jajo of Freeland, Shirley Davidson of Roscommon, Jennifer Grice (Rich) of Midland and Philip Shaver (Audrey) of Freeland; his grandchildren, Suzette Shaver, Rachel Simmons, Erica Davidson, Casey Clark, Johnathan Shaver, Lexi Shaver and Nicklas Davidson; his stepgrandchildren, David Rocha and Amanda Weisenbach; his great grandchildren, Hunter Zwiernik, Zoe Simmons and Baby Clark; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ava Noel, Ryan Weisenbach, Brody Weisenbach and Brianna Weisenbach.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at the Chapel Hill Mausoleum (6476 Midland Rd, Freeland, MI 48623).
