He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard G. and Elaine Maurer (Dubay); his daughters, Joy Dutton (Rodney) and Katie Maurer; his grandchildren, Madison and Lucas Dutton; his siblings, Judi Werkema, Janice Maurer and David Stephens; his close friend Julie Southworth; his friends, Jerry, John, Mario and Sam; and his significant other Gail Rossman (Maurer).
