He is survived by: his wife Diane K Russell; his children, Julie Bluemlein (Jeff) of Grayling, MI and Joel Nelson (Jackie) of Grand Ledge, MI; his grandchildren, Jarrod F Nelson of Grayling, MI, Nicholas Bluemlein, Sadie and Sawyer Nelson; his brother Gary Nelson of Auburn, MI; his sister-in-law Diana Bauer of Reese, MI.; his mother-in-law Phyllis Russell of Fairgrove, MI; and his siblings-in-law, Howard Russell (Doozie) of Mason, MI, Bonnie Graham of Trenary, MI, Larry Putnam of Caro, MI and Kathi Kaniszewski (Joe) of Midland, MI.
