She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Emerson and Hazel Bondurant Jenkins; and her sister Diana Jenkins Hippe. She is survived by: her husband William Charlton (Bill); her sons, Andrew Charlton, Christopher Charlton (Beth) and Mark Charlton (Aida); her grandchildren, Chelsea Charlton (Ryan), Andrea Charlton, Nathan Charlton, Nicole Charlton and Catherine Charlton; her great grandchildren, Brooklynn and Addison; and her niece Melinda Hippe Chase (Brad).

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Funeral services will be not be held at this time and a memorial service will be planned for a future date.

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Diabetes Association, or the donor's favorite charity.
