He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew G. Rueger and Agnes C. Rueger (Engelhardt); his siblings, Eldor Rueger and Luetta Behmlander (Howard); and his brother-in-law Alfred.
He is survived by: his brother Alvin Rueger (Judy) of Freeland; his nephew Cary Behmlander of Midland; and his nieces, Joanne Behmlander of Bay City, Diane Wackler (John) of Oklahoma and Valerie Parrish (Steve) of Florida. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews along with several cousins.
