We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2023, at the age of 84, George M. Gardner Sr. of Free Soil, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Melton and Hester Mae Gardner (Parker); his brothers, Gene, Don, Bob and Jimmy; and his sister-in-law Linda Gardner.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sons, George Gardner, Jr. (Jane) and Jeff Gardner; his stepdaughter Jennifer VanderZwaag (Clare); and his brother Gerald Gardner. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
