We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2020, at the age of 73, Richard Dowland (Frederic, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Dowland and Marie Dowland; his wife Andrea "Annie" Dowland; and his brothers, Ed Dowland and Dennis Dowland.

He is survived by: his brother-in-law George; his sister Linda Dowland-Bell (George) of Frederic; his children, Richard Lee Dowland Jr. (Emilee) of Frederic, MI, Troy Damon Dowland (Tasha) of Gaylord, MI and Jody Marie Ruddy (Joseph) of Grayling, MI; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jessica, Dylan, Andrea, Damion, Abigail, Cleland and Ember. He is also survived by step-grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
