She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smith and Edith Marie Smith (Wheeler); her husband Percy Fredrick Barnes; her son Todd "Bubba" Skillern; her stepson Dean Barnes; and her siblings, Bernard J. Smith and Elsie M. Smith-Riley.
She is survived by: her children, Tena Thompson (Ron) of Walton, Bryant Skillern (Mary) of Fredric, Mona Cameron (Danny) of Kentucky, Douglas Barnes (Barbara) of Harrietta, Cindy Reichhardt (Tom) of Manton and Janet Mahler (Manfred) of Georgia, Numerous; and her brother Roger Smith. She is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Grayling Assembly of God, Greenwood Bible Church, or the American Legion Post 219 in Fife Lake.
