He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William and Shirley Paret Sr. (Grimshaw); his wife Alice (Baird); his children, William III, Allison Grashik (Martin) and Kenneth Paret; his granddaughters, Jane and Roslyn; and his siblings, Brian Paret (Vicki), Jeanine Diener (Kevin), Michele Kelley, Kathleen Gunthner (David), Colleen Hollowaty (Paul) and Kevin Paret. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
