He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Harper and Minnie Harper (Farrington); and his sister Ann Willoughby. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his daughters, Vicki Lynn Courterier (Wayne) and Shari Ann Ibarluzea (Peri); his grandchildren, Nicole (Scott), Eric, Christian and Jacob; his great grandchild Harper Rae; and his pet Scotty.
