Ruth Halapi Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Halapi of Fraser, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 7, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Pinegar and Marie Pinegar; her husband Joseph S. Halapi; her former husband Gerard Normandeau; her children, Gerard J. Normandeau, Miriam Johnson and Cheryl Duquette; and her brothers, Dick, Harold, Robert and George Pinegar.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Davies-Warner (John) and Edward Normandeau (Debra); and her children-in-law, Colleen Normandeau and Timothy Johnson. She is also survived by eleven loving grandchildren; nine cherished great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory can be made to the American Heart Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association.
