He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Garthe and Fern Garthe; his stepmother Betty; and his sister Kiki Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Garthe; his children, Todd Garthe (Stacey) and Jennifer Williams (Jason); and his sisters, Sue Butwell (Jeff), Cathy Ludwig and Margaret "Peggy" Garthe. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren.
