He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Zalewski and Rosemary Zalewski (Resovsky); his children, Amy King (Joseph), Joseph Zalewski (Nina), Sarah O'Hara (Josh) and Theresa Zalewski (Nick); his grandchildren, Joseph, Desiree, Giulianna, Brooke, Abbigail, Gabriella and Braxton; his sisters, Roseann, Roberta, Rebecca, Regina and Ruth; his daughter Valerie Burns; his siblings, Rita and James; and also Rosemary Zalewski. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home (32814 Utica Rd, Fraser, MI 48026). A Mass was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thecla Catholic Church (20740 S Nunneley Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48035).
