She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Mowery and Irene Mowery (Slater); her husband James Thomas Burgess; her son James Burgess; and her brother Stephen Mowery.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Bowling (Thomas) and Bill Burgess (Donna); her daughter-in-law Denise Burgess; her grandchildren, Brent (Sarah), Stephen (Kathryn), Rachel and Emilee; her great grandchild Alice; and her sister Diane Hawley.
