She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Nieporte and Alma Nieporte (Stecker); and her brothers, Fred, Ronald and Lyle Nieporte.
She is survived by: her husband Henry T. Gawrys Jr.; her children, Donald Wedyke, Christine Seely (Terence) and William Wedyke; and her sister Barbara Budd. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
