He is survived by: his nephews, Paul Michael Hermanson and Robbie Allen; his niece Shelley Hietala; his wife Robin Vial; his children, Nicolas and Quinci Captain (Anthony); his grandchildren, Tallyn, Ember, Clayton and Baylor Bonini; his siblings, Maryann Anderson, Caroline Erkkila (Harry), George Bonini (Rosalie), Rosemarie Hermanson (Paul), Barbara Rickard, Patricia Carbine (Bill) and Lorraine Bonini; his mother-in-law Charlene Vial; and his brothers-in-law, Daniel Vial, Joseph Vial (Ken Griffith) and Steven Vial. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
