She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin; and her parents, Ewald Berkholz and Leona Berkholz. She is survived by: her children, Brian Gaul (Judy), Stephen Gaul (Sharon), Michele Gaul and Nancy Carpenter (Mark); her siblings, Gerald Berkholz (Janet), Diane Granlund (Ronald "Jim"), Suzanne Davis (Michael) and Kathy Gionta (Craig); her friends, Darlene Gaul and Ida Gaul; her stepmother Clara Berkholz (Zelmer); and her brothers, James Berkholz, Tom Berkholz and David Berkholz. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made on behalf of the family to Peace Lutheran Church or St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
