He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Rich and Dell Rich; his son Cooper Michael Rich (Jessica); his wife Maureen Lillian Johnson; his brother Rob (Paula Carnavale); his sisters-in-law, Brette and Alexandra Johnson; and his brothers, Michael and Peter (Carol).

Especially during the pandemic, a favorite Saturday night would be spent sipping Martinis with an aproned-Chris at the stove perfecting a new gourmet dish, while Maureen read aloud from a collection of Nora Ephron's essays.
