He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Richard Dehnke and Margaret Dehnke (Mclllaney); his sons, James Andrew Dehnke (Jim) and David Charles Dehnke; his sister Patricia Gardner (Dirrill); and his brother-in-law Roger Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Hatheway; his children, Emil Richard Dehnke III (Colleen) and Edith Gray (Pat); his daughter-in-law Pam Dehnke; his sisters, Elizabeth Benson (Don) and Cynthia Moore; his grandchildren, Brooke Filcek (Matt), Kasey Stubbs (Brian), Taylor Stieve (Alex), Emily Stevenson (Tyler), David Dehnke and Anna Dehnke; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Imogene Stubbs, Josie, Gus Filcek, Lily, Grayce Stevenson and Teagan Stieve.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Frankfort Trinity Lutheran Church (424 9th St, Frankfort, MI 49635). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
