He is survived by: his children, Sherry Galsterer of Frankenmuth, MI, Dru Deterding (John) of Frankenmuth, MI, Michael Speer (Mary) of Tuscola Township, MI and Dawn Bernthal (Phillip) of Frankenmuth, MI; his grandchildren, Matthew Galsterer (Heather), William Galsterer (Heather), Stephanie Knuth (Marcus), Elizabeth Merrihew (Scott), Emilie Deterding, Rebecca Hicks (Ben), David Speer (Marion), Jennifer Underwood (Marcus), Dru Montri (Adam), Gwen Victorson (Scott), Nathan Bernthal (Karly) and Jacob Bernthal (Brooke); and his brothers, Jack Speer and David Speer. He is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren.
