He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Prokopp and Carolyn Prokopp (Farrington); and his brother Allen Prokopp. He is survived by: his brothers, Ronnie Prokopp (Patty Harris) and Michael Prokopp (Michelle); his sister-in-law Pamela Prokopp; and his aunt Phyllis Grierson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
