With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Kern of Frankenmuth, Michigan, who passed away on July 12, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Diamond and Elsie Diamond (Reinert); her husband John Kern; and her siblings-in-law, Janet Diamond, Ann Kern and Bill Stow.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Kern of Frankenmuth, Kathleen Remender (James) of Frankenmuth and Matthew Kern (Stacey) of Frankenmuth; her grandchildren, Brittany Garcia, Robert Remender, Tara Kern, Matthew Kern, Ashlee Chema and Zachery Chema; her great grandchild Leah Wice; her brother Gordon Diamond (Earlene); and her siblings-in-law, Wallace Kern, Edward Kern (Viola), Gilbert Kern (Pam), Charlotte Stow and Karen Shaw.
