It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Bierlein of Frankenmuth, Michigan, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ricky Bierlein to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Bierlein and Frances Bierlein. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Toyzan; his children, Elizabeth and Tony (Tammy); his grandchildren, Milena, Madi and Max; his sister Sue Taylor (Bernie); his siblings-in-law, Maria Bierlein, Steve Toyzan (Judy) and Meredith Wilkinson (James); his brother Darwin; his in-laws, Steve and Kay Toyzan; his sisters-in-law, Julie Wade (Toyzan) and Susan Lawe (Toyzan); his close friend Greg Scharrer; and his godson Travis Bierlein. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lorenz Lutheran Church (1030 W Tuscola St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734).
